- 104 hours of music for 18 hours on air each week. That is about 5 times what one Thursday can play, so no two Thursdays sound the same. Shuffled, part of the Smooth Operator Mix.
Deep Journey is the quietest and most immersive show of the week. From midnight until 18:00 Berlin time on Thursday it unfolds like a slow crossing of open water: long tones, unhurried rhythms, melodies that take their time.
The palette ranges from the electro-swing elegance of Parov Stelar and the nu-jazz of The Dining Rooms and De-Phazz with Pat Appleton, to Lemongrass, Project Blue Sun and the Scandinavian melancholy of Röyksopp. Ambient mixes such as Accadia’s “Into the Dawn” sit next to Afrolicious remixes and Tensnake’s “Nightshift”, so the journey stays deep without ever going dark.
Listeners use it for concentration, meditation, long train rides and the hours when a room should feel larger than it is. At 18:00 it hands over to the sunset of Vibes del Mar.

When it’s on
